Minoan Civilization

Minoan civilization had a heavy focus on artistic expression.  They are most famous for their Fresco artworks and the ornateness of even the most trivial objects.

The collection of Minoan art is in the museum at Heraklion, on the North Shore of Crete.

Pompeii

We've been learning about the destruction of Pompeii after the eruption of mount Vesuvius and how history is told to us.  Concurrently, in Methodology we learned that "historical fact" is almost always slanted or biased to a certain view or perspective.  It's interesting stuff, really.
